Las Coloradas is a homage to one of nature’s most surreal landscapes —

the pink salt lakes at the tip of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.

Created in 2018, this early collection captures the joy and wonder of colour emerging from the land itself.

Each silk and bamboo silk piece was hand-dyed through bundle dyeing, ombré, dip-and-dye and botanical printing, using cochineal, seasonal flowers, roses and the luminous Caesalpinia mexicana.

The result is a palette of pinks, corals and golds that echo both salt and sun — a quiet celebration of love, warmth and transformation, born from the meeting of water, flower and light.
